paradisecove

This cove was named Paradise Cove years ago after the first Kona Airport closed and the entire area was turned into a park. At the end of the park lies this spectacular cove with beautiful sunsets and, best of all, very seldom does it get rain. There are at least 5 different spots that we use for weddings there and it is as deserted as you see it.

We have done portraits, senior photos, vow renewals, family photos and have shot several documentaries there on 1080i HDTV video in which we also specialize.

Even though there is no fee involved for the use of this location, it is better than many hotel sites that do charge to use. Even your own hotel will charge you to use the grounds for a wedding but this cove is within driving range of most of the hotels in Kona and there is no fee.

It truly deserves its name, PARADISE COVE. We have turtles in the water, whales jumping in the background when they are here and the water is loaded with beautiful fish. Once the home of an Ancient Hawaiian King (the foundation of the house is still there), you will feel like royalty once you see your photos from Paradise Cove.

We have included a photo of the coastline looking toward Paradise Cove from Kailua Kona of a family Photo session to give you the idea of the peace and ambiance of the area .
